The Kiwanis club of Horse Heaven Hills operates a charitable 501c(3) Foundation. It is governed by the members and managed by a board of directors separate from the Kiwanis club.

Our Foundation awards annual scholarships to students or non-traditional students who are from or who will be attending schools in the Mid-Columbia region of WA. The Foundation board screens these applications and selects qualified students from the applicants. This year, we are limiting our offering to special scholarships intended for graduates from our sponsored Key Club Programs. Applications for these scholarships are available from your Key Club advisor or from our Scholarships page.

Each year, the foundation also donate money, supplies and other resources to selected elementary schools and organizations in Tri-Cities.

The foundation receives funds from:

• Donations from the club and its members
  
• Rentals of the J&S Dreamland Express for picnics, parties and special events
  
• ​Private and corporate donations
