We plan to award at least three $2000 scholarships in Spring 2023.

2022 Darlene Roberson Memorial Scholarship

​This year, we have added an additional $2,000 scholarship. Darlene Roberson was our club president for Kiwanis Year 2020-21. We have chosen to remember her life through a new scholarship opportunity for our sponsored Key Clubbers.

  • ​Your application for the 2022 Key Club Scholarships (see below) also serves as the application for our memorial scholarship. It is our intent that together with the two Key Club Scholarships, these three scholarships will be awarded to 3 different students.

2022 Key Club Scholarships

Applications for up to two awards of $2,000 each will be limited to only high school seniors who are members of the Kiwanis Key Club programs at Southridge or Kamiakin high schools in Kennewick Washington. One award is anticipated for each of these two Key Clubs. There is no specific GPA requirement.

  • Follow the instructions on the application form (link below). Along with other information, a short essay and two letters of recommendation are required. The closing date for application is April 15, 2022.

Three 2022 scholarships were awarded. 

$2500 Kiwanis Key Club scholarship awarded to:

  • Abigail Dron  plans to attend Washington State University 

$2000 Kiwanis Key Club scholarships awarded to:

  • Justin Pattillo plans to attend Brigham Young University
  • Meredith Winiarski  plans to attend University of Washington
